How does one hold on to a relationship if the other one starts to lose grip? How can a relationship last if is letting go? How can love continue if love itself has faded through time. How can one be happy if one is tied with the chains of love and suffering?
Relationships start and end. This is a natural process, something that is inevitable, something that is real. But why do relationship ends and how do they start? They say it happens unknowingly. That love comes when we least expect it to. Sure, both feel happiness whenever they are into something with the one they love. One feels secure when they are with their partners. But security is one thing that can make or break a relationship. Much as jealousy and insecurity, having a loss of trust to your partner can lead to a devastating end.
Let’s say this “end”has finally come. What can one do with it? The time to let go has finally come. Keeping hold of the memories that a couple have shared, cherishing every moment is something that holds a person aback to let go of the other. This is wrong. If one intends to forget the past love and move on with life, one must leave this baggage to a place where one cannot get a hold of it anymore. Forgetting something is not an easy thing to do, especially if it hurts. But keeping a hold of memories are a lot painful in the long run.
If one keeps on hurting because of the past, then let go of the past. One must get a grip of oneself so as much to make oneself whole again, ready to love again. If a relationship does not work anymore, then that’s it. It’s over. Don’t hold back because of the memories. Things happen because they serve a purpose. And things happen because they do. Accepting the fact that one can be better off without the other.
